Community Service & Outreach Activities
At St. Ann’s College for Women, community service and extension activities are integral to the institution’s mission of nurturing socially responsible and empowered women. Inspired by the vision and values of Mother Gnanamma, the Mother Gnanamma Outreach Committee actively engages students in community development, social responsibility, women empowerment, and humanitarian service activities in alignment with NAAC quality initiatives for extension and outreach.
The committee promotes value-based education through meaningful engagement with society and encourages students to participate in outreach programmes that foster compassion, leadership, empathy, and civic responsibility.

Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA)
The institution is registered under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA), a flagship programme of the Government of India initiated by the Ministry of Education. Through UBA activities, the college promotes rural development and sustainable community engagement by encouraging students and faculty to participate in village development initiatives and community-based programmes.
